u know, the great thing abt having ur own blog is that u can write with impunity. so there have been several concerns about a certain controversial post. chill peeps. somethings are just statements of fact. really! like the grass is green or women have breasts (most women anyway). am not cynical beyond hope. not yet at least. havent lost hope for my mr darcy. sans sideburns of cos...i cant do hairy. anyhoo, moving along.

wkend was a mixed one - i'd rate it a "hold" overall. melb was back. two of her colleagues were visiting. r from hk and the other from her current plc (aiks, forgot name again! these chinese names...). entertained them for a bit. or rather the reverse. haha. we were being silly making r repeat things like maggi mee goreng in an attempt to re-create the fl version bt alas, he has a gd ear for accents. boring.

ditched the boys at dinner and had a meat galore at cutie's. cutie wasnt thr. dammit. havent seen him in yonks. wonder whr he sailed to. then met sy et al for drinks. sy got a bottle of bubbly. to celebrate her coming back for good? yes, she is and was grinning from ear to ear as she announced it. am happie for her n ck. plus, its always great to hear peeps coming back rather than leaving. now all those two are missing is a ring :). after stifling our 10th yawn (each), we called it an nite. ah, tiring indeed. me getting old.

sunday was spent with the girlies and later at the movies (watching one of the worst harrison movies eva). i must add tis - gals, u really make a diff. whether its cos ure commiserating with a recent single or cos am just such fun company to be wif, u gals have just been terrific. in the spirit of the 78th academy awards, wanna thank u all for being there for me. *applause*.
