say, where does one go to get a pair of basic, plain, "normal looking", khaki shorts? i can't seem to find them anywhere.
all i've been seeing are those fancy shorts (*points up*) that are flooding the high street stores. shiny, bright, colourful, printed, hint-of-bum-cheek short, tweed, linen, satin, diaphanous... u name it. no thanks to the current shorts trend on the international runways. nice to look at, dangerous to wear (unless u have gisele's pins).
am desperately looking for a decent pair of shorts, that are not too short, for an upcoming holiday which involves some urmm...outdoorsy activities. all my existing ones have holes or are faded or are just plain wear-at-home-only tatty.
this trend really aint my thang; i do hope oscar's right on this one and the capricious honchos of fashsyon will alter it in the next six months, if not sooner.

Well...giodano has got excellent choice of cheap and simple shorts, other brands include U2, Hang Ten etc etc...but are you willing to steep lower than your usual brands??????
