am back, am back, am back!
...in kl for gd friend, yc & steven's wedding. also, to take advantage of the long hari raya hols. the wedding was a cosy one as is the trend these days with couples adamant in having people they actually know at their wedding. got to catch up with some uni buds whom I havent seen in yonks.
work has eased up considerably this wk, which is a welcome relief from the hectic pace last wk. (can u not tell?) it's still a public holiday today for folks here bt a workday for moi that started in starbucks, then bodega. had grand plans to meet up with some friends for coffee whilst working (hehe) bt decided to head home after realising that I had to bring my laptop with me to the loo each time. dang.
X is back from US for couple of wks. great timing. met up with (and bumped into - is kl just getting smaller and smaller or wot?) loads of friends and family. its been a very social 5 days.
also, we finally got to do the porridge steamboat thing at some beng stronghold in pudu. food was mediocre (can DIY at home) bt the company was fun!
looking forward to more food adventures in the coming days. there aint nothing like gd old msian food. yum!
